Dr. Carl Vinson arrived here in Murfreesboro, Tennessee after completing his training at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry/The Medical Center in 1994.  It is considered one of the top schools of optometry in the country.  Dr. Vinson graduated one of the top in his class.  Since moving to Murfreesboro, he has practiced in the same location at 401 West College Street which he purchased from another optometrist.  Dr. Vinson is certified in diagnostic pharmaceutical agents, therapeutic pharmaceutical agents, injectibles, and CPR.  He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Tennessee Association of Optometric Physicians, and the Academy of Tennessee Optometric Physicians. He is also a past member of the Better Business Bureau, the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, the Murfreesboro Noon Rotary Club, and the American Cancer Society.  Dr. Vinson is able do eye exams in Spanish which is greatly appreciated by our Latin American patients.
